Mr. Riser brings more than a decade of experience in financial services, specializing in retirement planning, investment consulting and wealth management. He has worked closely with a wide range of clients, from business owners to individual investors, focusing on strategic plan design, fiduciary compliance, and participant education to promote financial wellness.

Holding an MBA from the University of Iowa and dual bachelor’s degrees in accounting and economics from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, Mr. Riser is also a Chartered Life Underwriter® and Chartered Financial Consultant®. Additionally, he maintains a FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses as well as an Iowa Life, Accident and Health Insurance license from the Iowa Insurance Division.

His dedication to financial literacy and community engagement is demonstrated through his active roles with the Des Moines Public Library Foundation and The Beacon, where he provides strategic oversight as a member of the board of directors.
